On Wednesday November 20th, FRAME founder Erik Torstensson hosted a Thanksgiving feast to celebrate FRAME friends and family at Keith McNally’s cozy West Village spot, Morandi.
In typical FRAME style, guests were welcomed with champagne and FRAME’s signature margaritas, to begin the evening of celebrations. Shortly after, attendees were treated to a bespoke menu, giving Morandi’s typically Italian menu a traditional Thanksgiving twist. To guest’s delight, the dining room was transformed into a cosy autumnal grotto – with candlelit booths, seasonal centerpieces, and rich orange table dressing.
FRAME’s co-founder Erik Torstensson hosted the evening, informing guests of FRAME’s work and volunteering with charity, Feeding NYC. FRAME will be donating 1000 Thanksgiving meals to families in need this holiday season. Entertaining guests in between courses were a barbershop quartet, who sang versions of ‘New York, New York’, Signed, Sealed Delivered and La Bamba/Twist & Shout.
In the spirit of the evenings holiday celebrations, attendees had the opportunity to reflect on occasion, noting on their placement – ‘I am thankful for…..’ Notable attendees included Nina Agdal, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Natalie Massenet, Halima Aden, Jean Campbell, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Sean O’Pry, Cass & Ali Bird to name a few.
