Time together is the only thing Helen Rigden, founder of Hot Body, wants for Mother’s Day this year.
We invited Helen Rigden, founder of Hot Body and mother of James Rigden (our Superette Director), into the studio to tell us all about being a grandmother to two beautiful littlies Bay and Sloane. She sat down with us to shed a little light on the highlights of being a grandmother in 2016 and how her style has evolved since becoming a parent.
What’s the best thing about being a grandmother right now in 2016?
I love the freedom that the young ones have now as opposed to when I was a mother. The whole thing [parenting] is far more relaxed. Nowadays things are far less structured and routined which is nice.
What’s your personal style like and how has it evolved since becoming a mother and then a grandmother?
My style hasn’t changed much. I’m pretty casual. [talking about her own outfit after the shoot] I was dressed today but my style is not too dissimilar to what I’m wearing now. Comfortable and free and relaxed. So I’m able to play with the kids!
What’s top of your Mother’s Day wishlist this year?
Just being together. The family together.
