The end of the week means one thing – Friday Drinks! Check out what we’re drinking this week…To congratulate yourself on finally making it through the working week, what better way to let loose than with a Friday cocktail. This week we made the most of what’s in the office at the moment. Luckily we had a solid amount of San Pellegrino Linomata and Stolen Rum saved for a worthy cause. The outcome? Blood Orange Mojitos. Full of colour and refreshing flavours, we’ll be drinking this long into the night tonight!
2.5 ounces Stolen Rum
4 ounces San Pellegrino Limonata
1.5 ounces simple syrup
2 blood oranges, cut in wedges
a handful of mint leaves
1. In a large bowl, combine blood orange wedges, mint leaves and a light sprinkle of sugar. Muddle all the ingredients together until most of the juice is extracted and the mint leaves are bruised.
2. Distribute muddles oranges and mint leaves between two glasses. Fill with ice. Add rum, simple syrup and San Pellegrino Limonata.
3. Stir and serve immediately.
For fancy (insert Iggy Azalea here), freeze 1 part San Pellegrino Limonata and 1 park orange juice. Drop one segmented wedge of blood orange in each mild. Allow freezing time before it’s cocktail hour!
