Valentine’s Day soundtrack

Valentine’s day is on the horizon and love is in the air (and naturally, on our minds). We turned talk onto the subject and asked some of our friends and designers to share a little L.O.V.E and kiss and tell to the questions we posed to them: What is your all time favourite love song?  and If money were no object, what they’d be buying this Valentine’s day.

Cubby Jenkins, NZ Sales Manager, Mr Simple

What is your all time favourite love song?

Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes – I’ve Had The Time Of My Life.

If money were no object…i’d buy my wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/lover/myself……for Valentine’s day

An endless summer.

Jordana Sexton, Brand Manager, Bec & Bridge

What is your all time favourite love song?

Otis Redding, Cry to Me …old school but that’s what is so good about it..

If money were no object…i’d buy my wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/lover/myself……for Valentine’s day

I would buy my single friends and I a nice bottle of vino and a dinner to celebrate being single!

Marc Moore, Designer, Stolen Girlfriends Club

What is your all time favourite love song?

Smashing Pumpkins – Dancing in the Moonlight. This song was originally by Thin Lizzy. Smashing Pumpkins did a beautiful cover that I prefer. Cool song that is about living in the moment and falling in love.

If money were no object…i’d buy my wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/lover/myself……for Valentine’s day

I’d hire Mayer Hawthorne to perform for Ngahuia’s birthday – I think she’d really love that and so would I, so it’s a double bonus!

Teale Talbot, Creative Director, Friend of Mine

What is your all time favourite love song?

Moby – Where you End.

If money were no object…i’d buy my wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/lover/myself……for Valentine’s day

I would buy a private island!
