Staff Style – Louisa

It’s that time again, another edition of Super Staff Style. This time we catch up with Louisa, Brand Manager from our Head Office…

My job title is… Superette Brand Manager

My signature style isI’m known for living in shorts and ankle boots most of the time! Generally I tend to stick to a relatively neutral palette of white, cream, black and grey and instead favour texture and fabrics like leather, lace and beautiful silks. I like mixing selected pieces that are ‘wow’ paired back with classic easy basics . I have been experimenting a bit more with colour because its hard not to with all this season’s amazing bright hues – and it is summer!

And my hero piece for this season is… My new grey Life With Bird Gehry boots. The colour is the perfect shade of pale grey suede – summery and completely unpractical too.

My last purchase was… Last week I got the new Watson X Watson pink ‘Bobble’ knit and I absolutely love it! I

Favourite subject at school? English and Art History.

I can’t live withoutMy iPhone, Chloe ‘Love’ Perfume, red nails, my Clarisonic, Archipelago candles, Kiehl’s lip balm, NARS blush and Bassike cotton jersey– rarely does a day go by in my world without wearing it in some form.

My favourite magazine is… Vanity Fair for the articles, Russh and Lula for the editorials.

I love grabbing my lunch fromBian sushi when I’m at the office or if I am not running late in the morning I’ll stop at Ripe Deli for a wrap or Richmond Road café for one of their delicious granola pots.

If you could be front row at any concert, who’s would it be? Fleetwood Mac, Rumours tour 1977.

The person I would most like to meet (alive or dead) is JFK and Marilyn Monroe. I’d like to have dinner with them both, and preferably together!

If I were a superhero I would be….Catwoman. Or a Powerpuff girl (if you can call them a super hero)

What is your greatest extravagance? Clothes and pretty underwear. I am such a girly girl. I probably have more of the latter too. Working surrounded by such a vast selection of amazing collections everyday makes it near impossible to not be extravagant in this sense. But hey, I’d be in the wrong job if I weren’t right?

Which words and phrases do you most overuse? ‘amazing’ and ‘sweet deal’

What don’t you leave the house without? My Deadly Ponies handbag. Which functions a little like Mary Poppins’ bag of tricks (or perhaps I just cram it with too much stuff). A pair of aviators and I feel naked if I leave the house without my silver bracelets.

On a Friday night you will find me…. After work on a Friday you’ll usually always find me up the road at the bar on the sunniest corner enjoying a wine with friends before racing home to watch X Factor!

On a Sunday afternoon you will find me…. On Sunday drives! It’s the best way to while away a lazy Sunday afternoon. Getting out of the city, even if it’s just a short 40 minute drive way is always refreshing. The adventures are best though when I’ve got my friend Andrew home from L.A as he is like a GPS map and history lesson of New Zealand all in one. Come summer however, I will be making the most of my new deck and sunbathing at any opportunity!
