This Christmas we’ve joined forces with luxe skin care brand Kiehl ’s for a festive collaboration that celebrates the best of fashion and beauty – all in the name of giving back to our valued customers.
Kicking off this Saturday December 1st right up until Christmas Eve, iconic Kiehl’s mascot Mr. Bones will be donning new season Superette wares from head to toe while he takes up residence in our Ponsonby Road store for his Ponsonby Sabbatical.
Every week leading up to Christmas, you’ll will be able to pop into store, meet Mr. Bones and be in to win a $500 Kiehl’s hamper, with one luxury hamper being given away each Monday from now until Christmas eve.
All purchases in store are valid for an entry, and to enter all you need to do is write a quick note to Mr. Bones on the back a Kiehl’s postcard explaining why you should win the Kiehl’s hamper and simply pop the entry into Mr. Bones’ ‘santa sack’.
Each Monday a winner will be drawn and the winner’s name will be announced right here on the blog.
This is one competition you certainly don’t want to miss out on an entry. As huge fans of the Kiehl’s products here, we can assure you that the hamper is one worth driving to Ponsonby just to see alone.
Who is Mr Bones?
Founded as an old-world apothecary in New York’s East Village neighbourhood 160 years ago, Kiehl’s unique and extensive background represents a blend of cosmetic, pharmaceutical, herbal, and medicinal knowledge developed and passed on through the generations. If you know anything about Kiehl’s, then hopefully you know Mr. Bones, the life-size teaching skeleton and Kiehl’s mascot who appears in all their stores worldwide. The original Mr. Bones skeleton is the actual human skeleton used by founding family member, Aaron Morse during consultations to educate patrons on various ailments. Today, Mr. Bones represents Kiehl’s pharmacy heritage, commitment to customer service, education and science.
We’re honoured to be hosting Mr. Bones during December – especially considering he’s got a pretty impressive track record when it comes to his past collaborations. Kiehl’s and Mr. Bones teamed up earlier with the likes of Alicia Keys, Terry Richardson, Zach Galifianakis for a charity project in New York. A big thank you to our friends at Kiehl’s for letting him come hang at Superette this Christmas!
So come meet Mr. Bones at our Ponsonby store which is located at 282 Ponsonby Road in Auckland.
See you there!
