The simplistic 59FIFTY caps by New Era, aren’t as simplistic to make as you might think. We caught a glimpse into the 22 step process needed to reach the finished product.
Thanks to a spotlight by Hypebeast, we’ve been able to see how New Era take their product from raw material to the finished product worn by countless celebrities and streetwear fans worldwide. Here at Superette we are huge fans of all things New Era, especially the iconic 59FIFTY caps, which we proudly stock in our stores and online.

Made by 22 local employees, the 22 – step process is rather intricate and detailed. We thought we’d share some of the most important steps from cutting to sewing, stitching, top stitching – right down to the application of the sticker.
